What is coaching?
Coaching helps leaders go from where they are to where they want to be. Leaders who are driven to reach a deeper understanding of themselves — and who are open to new approaches — typically get the most out of coaching.
I’m here to help my clients achieve their goals; not someone else’s. My goal is to understand my client’s needs as deeply as they do, while bringing fresh, unbiased perspectives, experience-based insights, and innovative approaches to solving their business and leadership challenges.
How it works
I’ll begin by asking questions to understand you, your goals, and where you want to focus. Leaving our first session, you’ll immediately have actions to practice and resources to review. Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue unpacking challenges and experimenting with solutions together. Expect to feel both supported and uncomfortable as we explore new ways to approach situations, individuals, and leadership challenges.
My coaching approach
I was a designer and creative before becoming a leader and business executive. My leadership and coaching are shaped by curiosity, a belief in creative approaches, the wisdom of small experiments, and — overwhelmingly — a belief in people.
-
It’s hard to get somewhere if you don’t know where you’re going. We’ll start to identify your goals, purpose, and priorities — and we’ll stay in touch with how they evolve as you grow.
-
Work is made up of people, and people are complicated and fascinating. Curiosity is a powerful instrument of connection and change.
-
At heart I’m a designer, and we believe in trying things. Prototyping new approaches, building on what works, and editing out what doesn’t.
-
All those small experiments and new methods add up to big changes. It just takes some persistence, an openness to change, and the courage to be uncomfortable.

What is consulting?
Different than coaching, consulting focuses on the strategic needs of the organization rather than the individual leader. Consulting enables clients to address their businesses’ biggest opportunities with specific expertise, advice and assistance. In coaching, the focus is on the client and enabling the building of new capabilities and capacity that allow them to inspire confidence and lead effectively.
Consulting
Consulting sessions focus on the needs of your organization. From strategic planning, to establishing design leadership methods, consulting provides expert counsel based on the focus areas best suited to the needs of your company.

Strategic Planning is fundamentally a set of inter-related choices. Strategic planning considers all the things your organization could do and establishes those things it should do based on opportunity, capability, and resources. By definition, strategy is about narrowing focus and concentrating resources; it demands choices and priorities.
At Procter & Gamble, I had the privilege to learn strategic planning from two business icons: Procter & Gamble CEO A.G. Lafley and Rotman School of Management Dean Roger Martin. With your team, we will assess your strategic cascade and determine Where to Play, How to Win, and the organizational capabilities and systems necessary to support these goals.
